Subspace Transmitter

When Brigham Young University’s Star Trek club was created and named itself the U.S.S. Excalibur in September of 1975, Subspace Transmitter was born as its newsletter.

The issues are printed on 8-1/2″ x 11″ paper, stapled in the top left corner.

As this is a newsletter for a club at Brigham Young University, the LDS religion is often mentioned.  The first few issues contain biographies of the officers, articles, and fiction as well as news items.

I assume the Historical Officer is the newsletter editor, in which case it’s Lon A. Wilcox.  If anyone else knows better, please correct this!

Diane (Howarth) Anderson donated the first three copies of the newsletter to this site.
