Early in 1975, The Communicator became the official newszine of S.T.A.R.**Utah. The magazine’s first wraparound cover, with artwork by Michael Scott, helped make this issue look more professional. The title on the cover, instead of being handwritten or calligraphed, was made using Letraset dry transfer letters. Before the days of word processors and almost limitless fonts, Letraset was a way to get crisp, black, professional-looking titles and headers.
